INAIR Touchboard Windows Compatibility Explained 2026
- von INAIR Official
Is the INAIR Touchboard Fully Compatible With Windows PCs?
While the INAIR Touchboard can connect to a Windows PC via Bluetooth, it does not offer perfect compatibility. Because it uses standard Bluetooth protocols, the physical typing keys will function normally on Windows 11. However, the trackpad is custom-engineered with specific multi-touch gestures designed exclusively to navigate the spatial UI of the INAIR Pod. When connected to Windows, the trackpad is often recognized as a basic mouse, and scrolling or dragging gestures may feel erratic or require long-presses to function.
The "Weird Trackpad" Phenomenon on PC
Many users who purchase our foldable Touchboard love its portability and try to use it with other devices, like a GPD Win handheld or a standard Windows laptop.
Support tickets often read: "The keyboard types fine on Windows 11, but the trackpad acts like a traditional mouse and won't let me scroll easily."
The Truth: This is an intentional hardware design. We did not build a generic PC accessory. The INAIR Touchboard's firmware is highly customized for AR spatial computing in 2026. The trackpad gestures (like sweeping away virtual windows) do not translate natively into Microsoft's Windows precision touchpad drivers.
