INAIR Developer SDK Unity: Release Status & Roadmap 2026

When Will the INAIR Developer SDK for Unity Be Released?

The official INAIR developer SDK Unity package and public developer documentation are scheduled for release in the coming month (target: May 2026). While our R&D team initially planned an earlier release, the timeline was extended to ensure seamless integration and stability for third-party AR glasses (like the XREAL One Pro and RayNeo Air 4 Pro) operating under our newly optimized 3DoF spatial algorithms.

A Transparent Update for Our Developer Community

We have received numerous emails from developers stating: "I am trying to use Unity to develop apps for the XREAL S1 and RayNeo 4 on the INAIR Pod. I saw announcements for firmware updates, but where is the Unity SDK documentation?"

The honest answer: Our R&D team is still actively writing and finalizing the public documentation. Before we open the ecosystem to third-party Unity developers in 2026, we had to perfect the core operating system—specifically fixing the DRM streaming bugs and the cross-network Wakey architecture (the April v3.5 update).

What to Expect From the INAIR SDK

Once released, the Unity SDK will empower developers to:

  • Bypass standard 2D Android app limitations and build native 3D spatial applications for the INAIR OS.
  • Tap into the INAIR Pod's Air Mouse telemetry for precise 6DoF controller input.
  • Utilize our unified 3DoF tracking algorithms, meaning you can write your AR app once, and it will run stably across XREAL, VITURE, Rokid, and RayNeo glasses powered by the INAIR Pod.

(If you are a developer, stay tuned to our Discord developer channel for the official drop!)

Building for the INAIR Ecosystem?

Get familiar with the hardware ahead of the SDK launch: the INAIR Pod is the device your app will ultimately run on, across XREAL, VITURE, and RayNeo glasses. Want the full native testing environment? The INAIR 2 Elite Suite pairs the Pod with INAIR's own glasses.

Good developer tools take time to get right, and we'd rather ship this once than ship it twice. Discover more about what we're building.
